Hawk bent the clutch lever
Long story short bike fell over when I was looking for something I already own instead of buying it again, bike fell over due to soft asphalt broke my top box and bent(!) my clutch lever. SOOOOOOOO I have seen a couple of posts about CB500X/F 2013-15 levers and a bunch on replacement amazon/ebay specials (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D72VYRQ...ing=UTF8&psc=1) but I had a question that hadnt occured to me till I saw another (unanswered) question in another topic. The clutch safety switch. The amazon ones dont mention having one so if I went this route how do I bypass is it just connect them together or something more complicated. I saw that a couple of seasoned guys (Jerryhawk250(? doing this from memory and cant get back without losing this) for one).
Thanks in advance.

Does the lever mounted throttle adjuster work better then stock? OE Hawk adjusters need to be darn near falling out to get close to acceptable free-play.
Nice that these are length adjustable too. |

The levers are separate from the throttle.

Oh! I guess I should look more closely. I thought for some reason the throttle cable adjuster went through the lever perch.

If it's not snapped, you can heat it up with a torch and slowly bend it back with a box end of a wrench slipped over the lever. That's what I always do.

Its rideable as is, but once the new ones turn up I will try heat and a wrench. Didnt want to snap it of and be lever less :-)
