Xrage bikes
Hi all. I am in the market to buy a new bike. We have a couple dealers here in town that sell Xrage bikes. They have the Lifan engine and look pretty good. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of these bikes. Here is a link to their site. http://www.xrage.ca/dirtbikes.html

Nice lookin' bikes. Their prices seem a bit high, though...

Look like Lifan to me, only a bit more expensive. They do look nice, but just a bit pricey. $2850 for a Lifan GY200 Alike????? Sounds a bit high. At that point you're defeating the purpose of even buying a Chinese bike.

By comparison, a 2006/7 Yamaha XT 225 retails for about $5700 so the Lifan's are still way less money. My LF200Gy-2 was $2000 CAD |

I agree with frost bite. I will also state that there is the odd good deal around here as my son just bought a 2000 XR 200 for $1800 cnd. This bike is in mint condition with very low mileage. If I could find a Lifan based motorbike for $2200 or less, then it would be worth it. I have taken the Xrage for a ride and the suspension in my opinion is better then my sons XR. This particular Xrage had inverted showa front forks and I am unsure of the rear shock. The shifting felt smooth and the power was comparable with the XR. Some of the parts looked a little cheesy but can be replaced with aftermarket or Honda parts( sprocket and chain).

Allout,
Try contacting the guys a www.xxx-motorsports.com and see if they will ship to Canada. It's an option that may put you on a bike much cheaper than you think. I'm not sure how customs works or any of that, but I can't imagine it would cost more than $300-400 more than what I paid to get one in Canada. which still puts you around $1500USD, or whatever the Canadian equivalent is. Hope they can help you out.

X-Rage bikes are better than Lifan
The X-Rage bikes are better than any Lifan stock bike. They have aggressive tires not wimpy enduro tires, steel braided lines, hand protectors, better fenders, wider foot pegs, 250cc Zongshen kick start engines, skid plates, 520 chain and sprockets, threaded adjustable rear gas shock, nice two tone seats and more? price is now only $2099 Canadian. Lifan bikes are not dirt bikes.
