Asking for a friend what this spring is for on a GMX 50cc

Mate has sent me a photo asking what this spring is and where from he said it was by the oil bung.
Could anyone possibly help with this please so I could pass on to him its his young fullas bike.

Cam chain tensioner and it goes in as he has it laid out in the picture.
