New Tsubaki chain (help me count the links)
Well, my new chain arrived, what could go wrong? Well someone forgot to count the links and I think I ended up with 120 instead of 124. of course I didn't know until it was time to connect the chain and I saw a nice 3 inch gap that no amount of tension could fill. I don't know much about chains.. but is it possible to add 4 links to the chain? Am I better off just returning this failure to the seller?
I notified the seller of the error and the response i got was surprising. He says that they shipped out 124 links. I know how to count links... but here is a photo so if any of you want to take a minute to verify that I do not have 124 links of chain that would be swell. ![]() ![]() |

You can run 2 master links but that would double your chance of a master link failure. I'd send it back and run the original chain a little longer.

I agree with Doc; I would not run two master links, Vash. You paid for a 124-link chain, and that is what you deserved to get. I would inform the seller of his mistake, and have him send you what you paid for.

I placed orange markers on each link to ease the strain on the eyes. I still come up short.

You did not get a 124-link chain, Vash. Reduce the photo size, and send the photo attached to an email to the vendor. You can also direct the vendor to read this thread.
![]() P.S. I hope those aren't "killer bees!" 8O Spud ![]()

you could get a 132 spare chain and extra master link and use some of the extra to fix your chain + you have a spare in case of a master link failure which are not very common if your chain isn't rubbing anything.

Never seen so many bees in one spot like that before. 8O
Be a shame to have to murder them, I've read the world's bee population is shrinking which could cause problems soon. With that said, I wouldn't want them close to my house and have them get angry with me or someone in my family. |

About the bees, a hive will gather and surround the queen when its time to travel or make a new home. They flew away some time during the night

The bees will move on, Please do not have an exterminator come out, We need all the bee's we can get right now.
And I would just send the chain back and get the correct one. They ripped ya off man :(
