Amazing place. That is in China, near Burma's border. That Zong has 20,000km on the clock already. I like the top box looks great. Thanks for the link Humanbeing.

Indeed, I do love this story! Thanks for alerting us to this Zong owner's journey, HumanBeing.
I wouldn't hesitate to take my Zong on a long journey. It is a wonderful, reliable, little motorcycle, which can carry a very heavy load on its luggage rack.

Another guy rides Zong on that route. http://www.motorfans.com.cn/bbs/view...=604627&page=3 He bought it "new" (150cc pushrod) in Sichuan, then rode G318 > G317> Yunnan in the 1st trip (Page 1 &2 )

That's an attractive, Zongshen street bike. The quality of the photographs is wonderful; they look professional. I wouldn't want to be driving that Toyota across that stream!

He bought it in http://maps.google.com/maps?q=%E4%B8...%B8%A3&t=m&z=6. It's the basic & proven bike "style" from that area. Every mechanic stocks parts on Tibetan plateau. If rides others small displacement Yammie/ Suzi / newer Honda / clones = Good luck
