Lowering Hawk

On the Amazon page for the Hawk, the description recommends the bike for riders over 5'8". I am shorter (5'4"-5'5"ish) and am wondering if there is an easy way to lower the bike to a comfortable height for me (I'd like to be able to flat foot it since I'm a new rider). Perhaps an adjustable spring, or shaving seat foam, or just a certain part I should buy?

So you're 5'4", how much do you weigh? The reason I ask is you can buy a shorter monoshock for about $80. If you're a heavy person you're not gonna want to go any shorter than 290mm which will drop the rear 3". But if you're a lighter person you could go as short as 280mm which would be a 4" drop. That combined with dropping the forks 2" in the triple tree should put you close to flat footing it. Also CSC sells a lower profile seat for it.

I'm about 130, so pretty light. Could you possibly send me a link to a good mono shock?
Edit: and possibly a link to the seat; I can't seem to find it. Thanks!

Your height doesnt matter as much as inseam.

You can lower the rear about 3 inches without needing to then also shorten the kickstand. That will put the seat height around 31 to 32ish inches.

Inseam is 30". Are you saying I can lower it without any new parts to 31-32", or would that be with a new monoshock? And would that plus a lowered seat probably be low enough?

That's going to depend on your inseam I'm 5'6 with a 29 or 30 inch inseam can't remember. but my xpect has a 32 inch seat hight and if I really stretch I can almost get both feet on the ground usaly I just put one foot down. or if both are down usaly the ball of both feet are touching.

That would be with a 20 to 25mm shorter rear shock.

That seat is in the accessories and it's kind of pricey!

Also, do I need anything to drop the forks?
