Tweaking my Vitacci XMT 250
Thoroughly enjoying my first bike (Vitacci XMT 250) and like any red blooded American male always intrigued by improving the performance and power.
The bike has a 165FMM 223cc motor with 6 speed transmission and EFI. I am toying with the concepts of front sprocket upgrade and cat delete. The back sprocket says 520-38 so I presume it's a 520 chain on a 38 tooth sprocket? The front sprocket has 13 teeth. I've read where the Venom Z250 (same engine) has a 17-tooth sprocket with a top speed 80-85 Mph. Does anyone have definitive experience with doing these kind of tweaks on similar street bike and what substantive benefits derived? |

17/38t is pretty much the ideal gearing for top speed on these 250cc bikes.
