My Rebel T3 start but stalls at idle
When i start my Rebel T3, i need to give the engine a gas by hold the throttle. If i release gas, my Rebel stall.
I check my battery voltage is 12.44 volt, I charge the battery with an external charger and with jumper cables, I verify my choke, I change CDI, I change carburator, I verify my gas filter and gas lines, I check if i have spark on my spark plug and it's Ok, And sometimes he doesn't start until i use jumper cablers. |

It sounds like the slow jet might be a little small for your needs. Remove the bowl from the old carb and unscrew the slow jet. Does it have a number on it?

I have 25 slow jet on my mukini. But i don't think is a carburator problem because i try to replace the mukini carburator with my old stock carburator and i got the same problem.

A T3 has a 200cc engine, correct? If so, a #25 slow jet would be a good choice. I'm now thinking that the slow jet is clogged. Can you see daylight through it?

Yes I see daylight through my slow Jet, and i clean all my carburator without result. After i have replace my carburator with my stock carburator and it's a little bit easier to start but i need hold the trottle cable and i can't disengage the choke otherwise my atv stall.

Does turning the pilot jet screw (air / fuel screw) have any result? If not, perhaps the pilot jet passage is clogged. Maybe there is some aluminum casting flash caught in there.

That's an excellent question. I just transplanted a China motor into another bike, and the idle screw was the only step I had forgotten.

Yes i check and recheck the pilot jet screw and the idle speed screw. I notice a little difference when i turn the idle screw, but the atv stall again and the rpm is unstable. Do you think the regulator can do this symptome.

What regulator? I've never seen a fuel regulator on these machines, if that's what you mean.
