New Hawk owner in Houston, TX
I got my new hawk 250 last month and enjoy tinkering on it and riding the trails.
I've made a couple of modifications including high flow intake, exhaust (sounds great), rejetted, shimmed needle jet and 43T rear sprocket. Last edited by Riderx; 01-26-2017 at 08:19 PM. |

Thanks. She runs good. I can stab the throttle at idle without stall and no popping at high speed. Very responsive with modified stock carb. 110 mikuni jet,two spacers on the needle, and one full turn on air mixture screw.

Welcome to the forum! I like the rear fender mod. Why I didn't think of that? lol. I have some black plastic sheathing that might work. I would like to run it continuous al the way to the back by the tail light. It would keep the mud from caking up in all the nooks and crannies and would be a lot easier to clean.

Welcome! I'd love to see more pics of your bike from different angles.
