Hi from the UK
Hi guys, Ive been directed over to this site from a similar forum in the Uk and though Id check your fine forum across here.
Ive recently bought a Skyjet RR7 (Honda CBR125R clone) from Ebay and have just registered it. I bought it just as a daily runner to get me to work and back as my car is a 2.5 litre V6 and is quite thirsty (20mpg), and with the price of fuel across here $9 a gallon is works out expensive! Ive owned bikes for years including a CBR600FY 2001, a 2002 Suzuki SV650S, a '99 Yamaha Thundercat and an '04 CBR125R, but this thing needs ALOT more care and attention than anything made in Japan! Here are a few pics of my machine to see if you guys have anything similar on this site:- http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/4...frsmalllw9.jpg http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/1...sdsmalljn3.jpg http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/4...rrsmallhm5.jpg |

I as wondering where Stevie was!
Seriously, welcome to ChinaRiders and glad you were directed this way. That just goes to prove the diversity of these machines all over the world and the badges that they wear and the awesome fact of how huge this forum has grown and the number of folks that have benefitted from it. We are a family of bikers here and will help each other as much as possible, whenever we can. There's a huge amount of info already posted and archived for you to search, but if you run into any problems, someone will be sure to answer. Give us more information about your bike, as much as you know about it.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
My bike is built by the Xjgao motorcycle company in Chongsheng district in China (so I believe) and is a blatant copy of the 2004 model Honda CBR125R (ive owned one of them too!). Its got the usual Honda CG125 Aircooled OHV engine making around 11Bhp. There are a thousand and one different "names" given to these bikes by the various different importers such as:- AJS Raptor, Voto V7, Superbyke RSR, Xjgao SJ125-23 and many more, and thats just in England! Obviously, compared to my Suzuki SV650S its slow as a dog, but im getting used to it and actually doesnt feel any slower than my old 2004 CBR125R, the model it is based on (although the engine in the CBR is a hell of a lot smoother) despite being 3bhp down. The quality is really rough and there are problems already and its not even hit its 100 mile birthday yet! Nevermind, its acheap bike and im gonna enjoy working on it (regularily!) Steve  |
