Post your Mileage!
Alright, who's got the most miles on a CG Honda clone? Post up the mileage on your bike. Me? I'm sitting at a WHOOPING 76 miles. I REALLY need to get a tag on this thing and me and her will set out for the day and do a few hundred.

We have over 1,700 miles on the Bashan WILL 200 right now... most of the miles have been "Highway" miles too (60+ miles per hour, 5,500 - 8,000 rpms for hours at a time)... as long as I remember to turn the Fuel Petcock to "ON"... it just keeps going and going

I got over 10k in the year and a half I rode my TMEC to work and back on a daily basis.
Edit--it still runs, but it was in an accident at about the 2500 mile mark, and the rest of the bike was kind of beat up. Not the wheels/tires, however, as I have plans for the last remaining brand new TMEC 200 Excalibur has in its warehouse, which needs wheels since they parted them off that bike.

i took the hawk out for a ride today, about an hour around town, had to go pay a few bills, oh joy.. anyhow when i left the hawk's odometer said it had 8 miles on it, which i know is wrong, when i got back it had 7 miles on it,
i wish my truck would do that,, i've been wanting to trade it in |

I can't do math right now but a kilometer it is a little over 6/10 of a mile. 600 miles is my guess.
Don't get me going on the Imperial System. They still drive on the wrong side of the road.

Have almost 5000 miles on my Hawk! Other than the centrifigul oil filter spinning off, no problems. BTW it was a whoppinn $15 to repair it.

It was still running fine but the oil pump chain was worn out and making noise. Could not find a replacement chain at the time but eventually got one from CSC, same as the TT uses. Now it's a spare engine that I'll probably never use. BTW, the cylinder head has never been off.

That's impressive. What was your maintenance routine? Oil type and interval, and anything else you think played into the longevity please.
It would be really cool if you changed the chain and ran it to failure of something else, but I get not wanting to mess with it. |
