Nothing impressive, but I average about 3 hours a day on my hawk during the week. About 60-80 miles a day.

I assume you are aware of Evelyn who took her Bashan storm from Utah to new York by herself in about a month or so just recently. Threads on this site.

Does Joe Berk's travel from his "5,000 miles at 8,000 RPM's" count? I'm pretty sure they did 300 miles a day or thereabouts on RX3's.

That's awesome I new these bikes were capable but wow. I'm defiantly going through with my road trip now, just as soon as I finish modding My Hawk.

A father and son rode two chinabikes; the son was on a 150cc SSR scooter and the father was on a 125cc Honda CT70 replica made by Skyteam from San Francisco to NYC.
http://advrider.com/index.php?thread...w-york.988742/ Someone here rode a LIfan GY-5 200cc enduro from Louisiana to Florida several years ago, flat out on the interstate (those came stock with street-friendly gearing) over 2 days. I also recall someone here riding a HiBird 250cc enduro (pretty much the first enduro in the US over 200cc's) from somewhere south (cannot remember the details) to Oregon. Both of those threads would be difficult to find, and so out of date, kind of irrelevant, so 'Evelyn's' very recent trip from Utah to NYC is much more relevant.

My question for those who ride a Hawk is, how do you stand to ride for more than 30 minutes on that uncomfortable seat? Seriously, if I ride for about 10 miles its already getting bad. Anyone have any suggestions about how to deal with it?

another quick/easy solution to the seat is beads. you can generally find a set of seat beads at a local auto parts store for about 20 bucks. I used some fishing line to cut some of it off and then use the line to wrap up the cut sections so they don't unravel. here's a pic of my C14 with beads on the seat.
