My first new piece of yard equipment.

I have never bought a new piece of equipment for the yard. This thing cost more than all the riding mowers and tractors that I have bought.

You can't go wrong with a STIHL, extremely well built and balanced . I ran one of the larger ones with a brush blade on it a lot, never a problem!

That's a nice trimmer, Allen.

I have a Stihl 18" chanin saw and it rocks!

I also have the long shaft Stihl HL100 hedge trimmer and it totally rocks doing the massive hedges around my place. My old Poulan can't even do the job in 4 times the amount of time I can now do it in with my Stihl HL100. It was worth the $700.

My last cheap trimmer died and I don't like working on those things. The stihl actually has a tunable carb.

So much more power too.

I have trimmer envy, but I'm still going to repair my old Weedeater. All it needs is a new fuel tank.

I may try to fix the old one. It has never worked right and compared to this stihl feels really cheap.

Told the wife that I need the matching blower.

Very nice!
I've had great luck with both my Stihl and Husqvarna equipment.

I'm in a trimmer quandary at the moment.
I'm currently looking at the Husqvarna 327LDX and the Stihl equivilent.
My local dealer sells both brands only. It needs to have the split shaft so I can attach a pole saw also. The way my property's been neglected over the last 2 decades or better, both are equally as important right now. :?

When it comes to yard equipment....you really get what you pay for.

I bought my second piece of new equipment last week. We have already burned a few tanks of fuel. So easy the little kids can use it. They make piles of leaves to jump in.

Next year is a new small chainsaw.

Does it come with a vacuum bag attachment?

No attachments. I think you can get some things. My Dad has the same blower and has the gutter attachment. I just go up the ladder. Took me 5 minutes to clean the gutters.

I have an old trampoline tarp that I blow the leaves unto and then slide them to the garden. Will plow them under.

This only cost about $20 more than walmart units. I am making my investments now that I have a good place to keep this stuff and a true need for them. I have a chainsaw that works right now. Its a cheap one, but it has been pretty good. Dropped and cut up a 60 foot ash tree with a 24" trunk. I have got my $75 worth from it.

Thats a good saw. Ash is one of the hardest woods and thats a big tree. Do you have a fireplace?
