Storm jets.
Need help on what to upgrade the jets to after exhaust upgrade. Current jets are 34 and 105. Ordered a set of keihin clones that are small and do not ETF. Any suggestions.

What jets did you order and where from? Have a model number for them?
Generally, the PZ clone carbs run a 99101-393 main jet https://www.jetsrus.com/a_jets_by_ca...und_28-xxx.htm

As far as jetting suggestions, I am going to use a TT250 as an analog - similar counterbalanced engine and Keihin carb replica with the same jets.
With an exhaust a 112 main seems like a good starting point. I would recommend a 115 to start just to be on the safe side. Keep in mind that your altitude and the current air temp will change what jetting you need. If a 112 worked for somebody in the summer at a similar altitude to you, you may be looking at a 118 if the temps are on the cold side where you live. If they were at a lower altitude, this will change it as well. The best thing to do would be to pick up a range of jets, 110, 112, 115, 118 would likely suffice.

Yes, you definitely ordered the wrong jets. Those are the jets often found in PWK flat slide style carburetors.

lucky me. So can I order the ones from this posting. Would it be easier to order a different carb. I was really hoping to ride given this nice weather in Puget Sound WA. My elevation is also around sea level to 900 feet with occasional trips to the mountain/hills.
http://www.ccwthariders.com/uploads/...ing_manual.pdf Here is also a link to tuning the carb. |

The bottom one is two jets. That is your main jet and needle jet still screwed together.

That's why we are here. Don't feel bad about not knowing either. Not many people even know how a carb works, let alone how to identify the individual parts. Knowing is half the battle, and we all had to learn at some point. I learned about carbs on a 1976 Buick 455 with a quardrajet carb at the age of 16. My dad helped me remove it, sat me down at a table, gave me some tools, a manual, and let me get to work. Trust me, I made mistakes lol.

I'm still having trouble finding the jets that I posted in post 15. I purchased to sets and they are not even close. I even bought an online carb rebuild kit listed for this carb and it was the wrong one. I'm about to just buy the mikuni but what are your thoughts. Any help for the right parts would be greatly appreciated.

at around 600 feet (i think) i run 40/115 in my storm ... was a little rich before the cat was out and opened the air box, not sure yet after that. i suspect until i get a better exit hole, it will still be a tad rich.
