Alabama Registration
Just wanted to post in here in case a lurker wondered. I recently purchased a Zong Sierra from Phil in Virginia. I transported the bike back to Alabama and have registered it.
Alabama doesn't require the Bill of sale to be notarized, you need the MSO and proof of insurance. They preform an "inspection" where they just check to make sure the VIN on the bike matches the paperwork. I had to pay sales tax (2%) of the price listed on the Bill of sale because I bought it out of state. So tag, taxes and title cost me just over $80. |

Congratulations, Bama! I am glad you had little trouble registering your new Zong.
