RPS Magician Seat Height
I want to buy a Magician 250 for my first bike. I'm five foot 10 inches, will I fit on this bike?

From everything I have heard, the Magician is actually a great bike for people about your height or shorter. It is smaller than the Hawk. Most tall guys like myself tend to find it a bit cramped (I am 6'4). Hopefully a Magician owner can chime in. Not as many around, but more and more are popping up.

I'm 5'10", took my friend's magician for a spin, it's a fun bike but felt a bit cramped. It would be perfect for kicking around the city but not for longer rides for me. My hawk fits me very comfortably though!

It's not just the height, it's also the inseam! I'm 5-10, my inseam is 31 inches. About average. But some ladies in the 5-10 height region have much longer legs and this does affect ride comfort.
I have read people who are 5-10 state that they fit fine on the Magician and others also 5-10 say they found the seat too low. I am only guessing, but I'd bet it has to do with the length of their legs more than their overall height. |
