Qlink XF200???
Guys,
have you seen the new super moto from Qlink? It appears the x-ranger is gone and the XF200 replaces it. Hmmm... Nice looking bike and nice gauges. http://www.qlinkmotor.com/product.php?id=46 |

Knothead hit the nail on the knothead there ( ), these bikes need a better suspension. The power is on par with other 200's i believe, but the suspension is, well, it just sucks. I know some guys have made serious modifications (red, the guy with the extra scoop full), but in stock form this suspension is just bad. I have tried to make mine better with fluid changes and shimming in the front, & greasing up the linkage in the rear. Now at 3200 miles my rear shock is shot & there are no good replacements that i know of.
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread, I just thought the point about the suspension needed to be elaborated on.

QLink XF200
Wow, that's a nice looking bike. The local QLink dealer told me that the last GLink bike (I forget which model) was a copy of the Yamaha TW200. They changed a few things like the size of the tires and such but many parts and the design was the same. The new XF200 looks to be using the same Yamaha designed engine.
The quality of these bikes is getting better. I'd like to see this bike with a rear disc brake as standard. I'd probably buy one. I can't do drum brakes!

I wonder what the price range will be? The last bike was called X-ranger. It was similar to the TW200. I looked into seeing if the TW tires would fit on that bike, but it was a no go. I would really like a bike with those fat tires.

You're right it was the X-Ranger. It had weird sized tires and wheels on it. A 15" rear and an 18" front, I believe. Very strange!

Looong way away from a KTM though. Right now these Chinese tards are just teasers, they have the look but ouside of the rubber they don't seem to offer anything substantial. Sad thing is, they wouldn't have to match anything like a KTM. More power and more adjustability in the suspension, throw in a bit better brakes.. keep it around $3000 and I'd be in line to get one. |

I would have to agree with knothead. I would be willing to pay more for a bit more quality/power/adjustability. Still having the entry level, commuter bikes for those who only want that.
It is a sharp looking bike, and I was just at a KTM shop looking at the bikes and thinking nice, but not for the price. Allen

That's the Qingqi Supermotard model, rebadged as Qlink.
Only drawback on the Supermotard is that it has brittle plastics, not the same "motocross" plastics as the Dual sport models have (wich Cybertron and I have) I personally don't like that the -07 models doesn't have a rear rack, but the rack from the -06 model are supposed to fit.

I have a Suzuki Ozark also, and it has the same oil filter as my QM200.

Thanks for setting us straight CathastrophiX. The local dealer here told me that the QLink XRanger uses a copy of the Yamaha TW200 engine. I just figured the XF200 was the same basic bike. You need a scorecard to tell the players apart some times.
If anyone is interested there is an XRanger for sale on rebay. Hurry it looks like someone is going to get a great deal. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=009
