2018 RX3...changes?
Maybe I missed the memo. What changes are coming with the 2018 RX3? Elsewhere I saw a mention of 19" front wheel, different instrument panel and ABS. IMHO those are all improvements but will come with a slightly higher cost.

I know the 19" wheel will be standard for 2018. I don't know about anything else.

There are new colors. Matte Black, Gold, Copper, and Yellow. I like the copper. I was looking at the 2018 Copper TT250. I think for me, the Copper color on the RX3 is even better. With only pictures, it could be the same paint, for all I know.

Nice new color schemes and ABS and 19" front wheel are good adds. Price is still reasonable given ABS as well.

I do hope that the ABS can be turned OFF (for the dirt) -
I'm not sure you'll be able to order a 2018 without it. For me it's another layer of complexity and technology, (and one more thing that can break) - and as an experienced rider I know how to panic stop through practice. |

If ABS is the only physical change I'll be able to move all my 'farkles' from the '16 to an '18. Sweet! Peter Y. |

Weak front brake = poor man's ABS.
Seriously, I like the upgrades and new colors for the 2018 models, but I wish Zong had put the effort into improving front brake stopping power rather than adding ABS. I write this assuming that the front brake uses the same rotor/caliper/pads as the earlier models. From the photos they all look the same. I wonder if the speedo accuracy will improve with the 19" wheel. |

My 17 Suzuki indicates 80 but the gps indicates 76. Even the expensive az bikes have that speedo problem.

I would adjust the rear brake lever down if it is locking up the rear wheel with normal applied pressure. I had to do that to mine, since it too would lock up very easily, particularly while practicing emergency stops. After adjustment, rear wheel lockups have not been an issue. I have to make a concerted effort to achieve a lockup now.
