Pioneer XF-250A CDI
I have a 2006 Pioneer XF-250A that I was given and have been trying to get running after being in a barn for the past 12 years. It was built by Shendong and was told it is a Honda Rebel 250 clone. Right now I have no input to the coils and the exciter coil and pulse generator check out to specs. So it appears to be the CDI box. I bought a new Chinese made CDI box for a Honda, but it still does not get a spark. Not sure if the new box was DOA or it was not the correct part. I have bought other parts for the same year Rebel and some have worked fine and others did not. Any tip on how to find the correct CDI box? Thanks.

For all it's worth, try SSR Motorsports. Their XF250 dual sport is made by Pioneer, and up to a few years ago, they carried street bikes with the model name XF250 (like your bike) whose OEM was Pioneer. The dual sport and I believe the recent street bikes use an engine that is a literal clone of the Suzuki TU250, but the SSR bikes use(d) a carb whereas the Suzuki uses fuel-injection.
