E-starter don't work when in Neutral
The E-starter don't work when the transmission is in Neutral.
If I put the transmission in first-gear, the E-starter miraculously works. What's up with that?

Is this a new problem? or have you had this since you got the bike? |

Had this same problem on a old honda the Neutral switch is ether out of adjustment or has failed. on the old bike it had failed and was told that when the bike was in Neutral no go but place in gear and then the switch is bypassed to the clutch saftey switch. My problem was back then I had to remove the side cover to replace it and had no clue what I was doing so I just would always pull the clutch in last two years

I think this has to do with the diode, it should be behind the headlight somewhere..
