Rhino 250 with a bucket loader?
Im getting a Rhino 250 and going to get a plow set up but was thinking would a swisher universal mounting kit with a bucket loader work on a rhino? Or even a front mounted warn plow with bucket conversion kit?

This is the way I want to go with mine. Curious if anyone has a answer.
I originally got the idea in my head when I saw a guy on youtube put a small bucket loader on a garden tractor. |

Why do you guys want a bucket ?if it’s for snow ,it’s generally a waste of time .A Plow can move a lot of snow in a hurry ,angle the blade and push as far as you want ,while a bucket fills itself once then you have to dump it .A bucket does work well for piling banks ,but every backhoe or loader around here has a blade in front of the bucket to move snow before piling it ,or they work with a truck that moves the snow for them first .
As for digging in dirt if that’s what you want it for ,they only have the ability to pick stuff off the surface ,they don’t usually have down pressure so they can’t dig below their wheels ,that works for some people ,not so much for others . What are your intended uses for it ? |

1 To deal with the snow plow piles in front of my house and driveway... don't see an atv plow being able to move a 3ft wet/packed snow plow drift.... well not one attached to my Rhino.
2 To fill in dredge holes with loose gravels that came out of the hole when dredging. Basically push my tailings back in the hole. A regular plow may work for that. |

Yeah that is what I need it for in the creek bed exactly. Would make reclamation at the end of the day real easy.
Could see it working on the snow banks the plows leave in front of my house too. |

PANDEMIC,
That bucket of yours is absolute genius! Such a simple design to dump. Did you start out with a plow and just add the hinged sides, bottom & actuator arm, or was it all from scratch? I can see how I can easily make a hinged addition to the plow that I already have on mine. It would sure beat shoveling mulch by hand! |

I'm looking at that hitch mount and the thin metal you used. Don't think it will hold. Not to sure you want to put all the weight solely on the front of the ATV either. Once your lifting the load it might nose dive if that is what the bucket will attach too.
