Qingqi/Qlink XF200 Wheel Parts?
Hey Everyone!
In my thread about the XF200 Shifting Issue , the tpoic has been diverted to repairing my rear wheel. In order to keep that thread on the original topic and get more support, I have created this one. When I was working on my bike for the clutch issue, I discovered the rear wheel had a broken spoke and the rest are all loose. I am going to true the wheel myself, but don't know where to get definitive replacement spokes for the XF200. The Qlink XP200's spokes can theoretically be replaced with DR200 spokes, but the poor little XF200 has 17 inch motard wheels that (as far as I know) don't take replacement spokes from another bike. On Taobao, they have the following parts: a) http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=23274096170 b) http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...cket=18#detail c) http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...cket=18#detail B and C appear to be the inner and outer spokes for the drum side of the wheel, but what about the spokes for the sprocket side and the front wheel? Of course USA sources would be optimal unless the price difference justifies bringing in parts from China. My goal is to try and find sources for the different spokes so riders like myself will be able to have a place to order replacements without having to worry whether they are the correct parts or not. Does your QLink XF200 have a rear drum brake? Please post a photograph of both sides of your rear wheel so we can see the different spokes on both sides of the wheel.

So I went out and measured the spokes. Here is what I got, although I am not sure how accurate they are. Front Wheel (All spokes seem to be the same): Rear Wheel Left Side (Inner and outer appear to be the same): Rear Wheel Right Side (Inner and outer appear to be the same): |

Today I am making the purchase from TaoBao since I have to get some clutch parts as well. I am using the agent TaoBaoTrends.com and am wondering how to specify this to the agent. It doesn't let me increase the cart number and shows a price of $0.00.

The front spokes are likely to all be the same, but the inners and outers of the rear wheel are probably dissimilar. The only way to know for sure is to remove a couple and compare them.

Does one have to buy a whole set or can you just buy a couple. The reason I ask is possibly getting a half dozen of each size available coming then you would be totally covered to replace the one broken one and have a few spares. and would not cost a huge amount.

My understanding is the price is for 1 spoke. What I then did was set the quantity at 20 in the cart of my agent (I used Yoybuy) then specified in the instructions box that the seller needs to give us 5 of each and I pasted this underneath just to be sure:
左/內 | L /In | 5 右/內 | R /In | 5 左/外 | L /Out | 5 右/外 | R/Out | 5 |

OH I forgot to mention I'm getting 7 of each, I forgot to change that value. I'm going to copy and paste the text above with the values of 7 for each spoke.
Edit: So I just checked and saw the status is now "Purchased" and the agent responded in the chat "Thanks friend, 28 pieces in total". So I guess it's time to start praying |

Just to add some info to the thread for future riders, Humanbeing kindly supplied me with the TaoBao link to a replacement speedometer cable for the XF200: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=35257606144
While on ebay I found these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-Motio...item2c986bb511 http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Speedome...-/161363214668 Are either of these a viable US source for a replacement cable? |

The second link shows what I think will work but don't know why it's for an earlier DR200. If a dealer is near by get one for a DR200SE any year in the 2000s. I know those will fit.
