CSC 250TT Pa registration
I ordered a CSC 250tt and was just curious about the registration process and any helpful tips for someone in Pa. Seems like people have had success and the company assured me it had many happy Pa customers but I just wanted to hear from someone who may have gone through the process in the last few years and can offer any helpful hints. Thanks!
Update: I went to a local notary with my paperwork sent from CSC and my insurance. There were no issues or questions. I told the notary that it was 50 state legal and she got me a title. Easy as that. Note: I did call in ahead of time and was told to double check my vin before I came in and at that time I also told her the model so she may have looked it up before I came it even though she didn't while I was there. Considering their bikes are California legal and registered there, you should be fine. There was a very happy PA TT250 owner a few years back who also road a Ninja. He commuted as year round as long as it was dry out, and had put out a few YT videos of him riding his CSC bike to work. This was pre-COVID if my memory serves me, so not sure if he still is around on Chinariders, and his experience was years back. But, again, CSC is a reputable company, and not one to rip you off with vague promises that really are not true. Over the years, I recall PA members using title companies to register their bikes vs. the actual DMV or MVD or whatever the state motor vehicle operation is called there. People were using those title companies for gray area bikes like Hawks and whatnot and were a few years back, but considering the CSC bike is 50 state legal, you would be more or less guaranteed through a title company vs. ignorant state workers if those title companies are still titling bikes. Just something to look into and I hope some PA members chime in.
Edit: I just happened to find this thread; one of the comments was from a guy in PA who owns a 2022 Hawk DLX (49 state legal--not California) who you might want to private message to see what process he went through assuming he mail-ordered his bike. Do@Hawk is the members handle https://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=34539
