New RX3 owner
Well I been lurking for almost 6 months around here, and just picked up a used 15 RX3 for a very fair price and only 1200 miles. I'm really excited and looking forward to being part of the coooool crowd. so I just wanted to say hello from out here in sunny SoCal.

Wow! Finally another "used" RX owner!...and the most awesome color too....white with blue. Don't tell anyone but it's the fastest color they offer.
Welcome!

Just out of curiosity, what part of SoCal? I grew up in San Fernando Valley, left after college (the first time lol) parents retired to Big Bear. Man, do I miss it.

What Ron B said is good advice. Also, you could always run over to the shop in Azusa for a once over (depending on your skills, tools, time, no offense meant)...stopping by an In-N-Out on the way. IF the prior owner didn't like the bike, or had other things going on, they may very well have skipped the critical 500 mile valve job, knowing they were going to sell it. The other things wont matter AS much, but I'd for certain put eyes/feelers on those valves.

congrats! Youll really like the bike. find out if it was shipped unassembled, if so I would check the valve clearance right off or if you can, ask the previous owner when he did them.

Thanks for all the tip guys, I will give it a once over and check valves and all that good stuff. I was informed by the former owner that he had taken it to CSC for its first maintenance. I think I will go ahead and check them just for fun!!! Lol

You can remove the two bolts that hold the radiator support brackets to the frame then rotate the braket up and out of the way, makes the exhausts pretty easy once that's out of the way. Easy to rotate back and reinstall the bolts. That took care of the access problems for me. I've adjusted those things 4 times now and have it down pretty good.
