Hey from SC, USA
New to the board and glad to be here. I am a nut with a wrench. Been working on anything with an engine since I rebuilt my go-kart at age 8. Now, 24 years later I own five bikes and a wheeler. Right now I am into the little Honda's. I have a '72 SL 125 to be built, a '74 XL 125 I am building now and a '75 CB 125 I built earlier this year.
I joined because I just bought a Lifan 200 (the 63mm bore with a long stroke) and I am about to bolt it into a '72 Honda CB 175 Super Sport Cafe. Look foward to all the help and wealth of knowledge I can soak up here and I hoped to be able to contribute a little of my own. Jon |

Welcome Jon! Glad you found us. It sounds like you're fully immersed in the hobby.
Which country do you live in? EDIT: just saw your SC reference.

I'll get some photos up soon. Is there a place to put my random "garage" photos?
With this 200cc Lifan I got I need some specs like oil capacity, spark plug type, valve lash clearance, etc. Any tips or links? Maybe a manual for a bike with this engine. This is the 63mm bore. Thanks! |

Thanks for sharing your project pics. It was cool watching them as a slideshow. 8)
It looked like you metal-flaked your arm in the painting process.

I am a role player, lol
The engine on the XL has Dupli Color Engine Enamel, the kind with Ceramic in it. First degreased in the parts cleaner, then Soda Blasted, then cleaned, then lightly coated with the aluminum color high temp. I went real light around the exhaust port as this will quickly discolor and flake. Don't go too thick or you may have overheating issues, all the more reason to go aluminum color so you can't see the thin spots. |

Welcome neighbor.
You should be able to find the specs you need in the dual sport forum.
