ZS 200GY-A copy of...?
Hi there
So i just got a 2007 200GY-A and its been said that it is a Honda clone, i need to get a new exhaust and was thinking of getting an aftermarket exhaust because i want to fix it up to make it a beast, the main dilemma i have is that i dont know if the exhaust system will fit, so does anyone know which Honda model the GY-A is based off? or the closest Honda model to the GY-A? Welcome; we are glad you joined us.
Yes, the ZS200GY-A is a Hondoid, a Honda clone. However, I own a Yamaha clone, so I will defer to the Hondoid experts. I'm sure someone will come along soon to offer you good advice.

Welcome!
We'd need pics to be sure, but my guess is that your frame is closely patterned after an early '80's XR200 twin shock bike (not the R version). Our Chinese friends then weld in a frame bridge for a mono shock and use a swingarm with a link, like the later model XR200. My guess is that the studs for the twin shocks are still there, and possibly used for a carrying rack mount.

On your exhaust question, is the header in good shape? Does it have a bulge in it that would indicate the presence of a catalytic converter?
Again, pics would help.
