This was the first bike I ever bought.
I bought one of these when I was 17. It was the first bike I bought. I can still hear it. Nothing like a honda twin. Paid $185 for it. Only had front brakes and was in no where near the condition of this one.

What a classic! I had a friend in college with the same bike in the same color. Sweet machine.

My first bike was a 1980 GS1100E. Just like this one but mine was a maroon color:

My FIRST Street bike was a 1974 Yamaha RD350 Two Stroke. I can still here it! It was Purple with White YAMAHA Letters on the TANK. That bike was sweet. I sold it, after I got out of HS, and Joined the US Army. I rode that thing everywhere. I'd like to own another one today.

My last Street bike can be seen on my YouTube Channel: 1982 Honda CM 200 Twinstar - I turned her into a Bobber - Complete build from basket case. I paid $150 for it - Sold for almost 2k....Here's the link if you want to take a peek! http://www.youtube.com/user/Jtcomp2009#p/u

That's a sweet little Honda. 8)
I had a buddy with the 100cc version when we were kids, and I had a '78 TS100 dual sport (I still have it). We rode those bikes everywhere together.
