Not quite as fast as OHC, not quite as efficient as pushrod engines, lower MPG. Overall worse.
No hybrids yet, whatever that is.
But the 4V OHC engine is available in a 249cc ZS engine.

One of our forum members has put it into a bike (photos!)
Here is the engine. He bought it from AliExpress and as I recall, fabbed it into his grom clone. Now that was an upgrade!

You can even get the 172FMM compatible head kit:
