Ordered a new impact wrench today to replace my 300 ft/lb old one. Ordered a SeeSii 800tlb. The torque channel consistently rates them in a league with the "name brands at about 1/3 the price. Makes more torque on the machines than DeWalt, Milwaukee, Craftsman, has a nice warranty, comes in kit with 2 batteries under 130. dollars. Priced a similar torque DeWalt tool and 2 batteries with charger and it isn't even close. I can replace it in 3 yrs, buy another and still be money ahead.,

Ordered a Tusk shift lever. I don't need it. The stock one works, but I'd like something that fits(and looks) a little better. Maybe with a little luck, the ergonomics or shifts will improve a little, but I'm not holding my breath.

Along with some bicycle wheels, tires, and tubes, a 23" Coffee Brown 1970 Raleigh Sports.
The bike still has the original tires and tubes. Of the $70 I spent at the bike shop garage sale, $10 was for the bike. I would have paid $50 for the saddle that's on the bike.

I hade to shave a little bit of material away from the lever with a grinder, just to round a corner that was contacting the sprocket cover. Quick touchup with some Rust-Oleum and you'd never know. Fits and feels good. Looks cleaner and clears my skid plate like they were designed together.

Bought a knock off Makita Angle grinder from Ebay. 11000 rpm, 3 yr warranty, 3 speed. Don't need it now, but it runs on Makita batteries which I have. 23 dollars plus free shipping. C'mon now, how do they do it. Alson picked up another impact with 650NM rating, 5.8 inch width, under 30 bucks, handheld blower to dry off my truck or bike when washed. For occasional use these Chinese knockoffs are a steal. You can buy Makita knockoff batteries 7 amp for 26 dollars a pair. To date I have not had any problems with this so called cheap products. Tool snobs may not like them but they suit me right down to the ground.

I have yellow tools ,and my boss kicked out a tenant ,and a few weeks later a white van with a turbin driving it dropped off a little box with two knock off 9 amp batteries .They became mine and they have no more power than my 5 amp batteries ,and after a month one was actually smoking on my charger .I don’t want to burn down my home or worksites ,so I got rid of the batteries and won’t purchase them .I wouldn’t be scared of the tools but they might not last long .

New gas cap for the Jeep and a new front tire for the Ural...again. Trying a different brand, MMG, as my preferred Duro HF307 is unobtainable...again. Has less aggressive tread than the 307 but more than the recommended Duro HF308 street tire. Should be here Tuesday.
Also bought a Shimano Italian thread bottom bracket for the Guerciotti frame I bought last May. And a French cottered bottom bracket spindle for the Mercier bike I bought in April.
