Snappy Comebacks

I'm usually the guy whose snappy comeback comes to mind 20 minutes after I needed it. I must have been on my game today.

I took Buster in the Jeep to do his morning walk in another location. As we're getting to ready to do our stroll this guy getting out of a newer Silverado looks over at my Jeep and says, "It's kind of rusty, ain't it." I looked over at his Chevy and said, "It took 20 years to get this way. Your Chevy should be there in five." And walked away.

I used to work in an office where we had this one guy who was the snappy-comeback king. We would actually prepare smartass remarks for when he showed up for meetings, to see if we could get the better of him. He always managed to lay us flat.
