Welcome. We all start somewhere. I just started last year, late in the summer.
I would recommend the Motorcycle Safety Course. It is free and they provide the motorcycle, you just need the basic safety gear (helmet, gloves, eye protection if your helmet doesn't include a shield, long pants and long sleeve shirt, boots). If you do well in the class, you will be rewarded with your motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license.
