Rotella Diesel engine oil T4 has compatible lubricants and effective wet clutch performance. I have used it consistently in a half dozen motorcycles. The clutches operate smoothly in my experience using this oil. At $16 per gallon, I see no reason to switch. I wasn't trying not to use motorcycle oil, but just tried it out and it has been great.
