My experience and the X-pro Hawk 250 from Amazon.

Well its been about a month and half since my purchase from Amazon and for those that are wondering/thinking of buying from Amazon I give a 5 star Review. It took only 9 days to receive the bike, 2 more days after that to receive my paperwork. Assembly only took 2 hours and I know nothing, and I mean nothing! My bike came as ordered (red) and there wasn't a scratch on her. Amazon really made it simple with a 3 yr everything covered. So far I have upgraded the carb to a 30mm nibbi, and I have to say BIG difference in proformance. I weigh about 260 and my bike has no problem doing 65 mph! I did the sprocket upgrade 17 front and 45 rear. Most of the roads around my house are 45-55mph and my bike has no problem. My speedometer cable broke but, I heard that is common so I have ordered a digtial dash and currently waiting for it. But all in all I love this bike and its been a great experience. Anyone in Lake of the Ozarks area want to do some riding PM me. Thanks

That sounds great! Were you able to get it registered and plated easily?

This is a funny thread.

Warranty starts at 3yrs
Drops to 3 months
Then 30 days

Next is 3 weeks, then 3 days, then 30 hours, then 3 hours? Lol

I purchased what sounds like the same xpro but in the manual it says in bold RPS Hawk-X 250 Enduro. However, before I bought from a local so-called dealer for exactly 2k out the door, 30 day warranty on engine alone was made clear. Then from researching specs (I love specs) and potential mods, as well as other owners YouTube videos and just general information, I found first how I was duped at that store, I wish I would have gone EFI partly, maybe got a bike with a Zongch actual 249cc 6 speed motor, and of course bought from Amazon. I've upgraded to nibbi coil, d8eaeix-9 plug, nibbi pe30 racing 30mm 48mm air intake bypassing the box with a k&n style filter that came with the carb. Attempting to install this $99 jfg Belparts BHP performance exhaust but struggling to get all 3 parts to fit right, and not familiar with the best products to tightly seal them together short of welding.

So what started it being in my garagen 3 weeks ago is I had a slow rear tube leak which became completely flat, I proceeded to try installing the exhaust and had it running a few days. One morning I was inspecting that dealers very poor taping of a lot of what is or was the stock complete wiring harness, using my electronics background and general knowledge of individual components and the fact since I owned this hawkx 250 I've already had 2 separate connectors pull off or break without any effort. I did a good job redoing/splicing. Thru my researchmostly on this website I have concluded that I would like to change out the entire wiring harness with every component, instead of wasting any more time troubleshooting The main problem I'm having right now is that all the lights. Headlight turns on with the Ignition switch on. But the start button isn't working. Yes, I've checked fuses. I've checked everything like I said. I've I i know how to Trace continuity in wires and connectors search. What? I what i'm not completely sure of is some of the components, such as the c d I the relay.. etc.

Okay, this is my question, guys. When looking for complete wiring for this hawk x two fifty, it's a twenty twenty 223cc, Using a six pin CDI, am I looking for an AC or a DC CDI?
