The Durelle Racing Gel Seat is about 1-inch wider, and 1-inch lower than the stock saddle. Carving away foam reduces the saddle height, and inserting a gel pad in the foam preserves riding comfort. The Gel Seat comes with a new seat cover. You remove your old seat cover and foam from the seat pan. Then you install the gel seat and the new cover.
