Homier Flywing 150

Just got a new Flywing Dirt MX150 from Homier travelling tool sale for $599 in the crate. Marked Flywing, mfg in 2004. Seems decent for the price, but I haven't ridden it yet. Looking for future reference parts availability. See it at www.homier.com and search "dirt bike" if interested.

CathastrophiX 11-01-2006 05:28 AM

Reminds me of my old Suzuki TS. I hope you will have fun with it :D

panterra_rider 11-04-2006 10:16 AM

Looks like good-ole fashioned retro fun. If it's anything like my 150 you'll appreciate the torquey motor.

Cheers,
R.

My son's MX100 is a Flywing. The engine is Jianshe.
It is a good little bike. I have fun ridding too. :D
Does your bike look like this one?

i have the same bike, also bought from homire last febuary. i like the bike alot, lots of torqe, great in the woods, and the price cant be beat, nothing has broke or fell off, i did give it a good set up before riding, my only gripe is the kick starter is just plain alkward, fold the foot peg up, kick wih left foot seems to work best have fun

Hi Onthepipe
I hate to say this but I just did a search on his site for dirtbike, dirt bike, motorcycle & atv and you either get nothing or air blow guns, lifts etc. You must have purchased the last one...did you ask him if he will supply you parts if it breaks? I hope so.

Took mine off, placed it in the vice and heated it with the torch and rebent it to a more user freindly shape. Works much better now that I can actually get a good full stroke and it no longer is banging me in the leg while riding. I like mine, it sorta makes me feel like I riding the old 74 DS350 I had back when I was a Kid (About Dans age  :D ) and it's quite a bit lighter than the KLR... though no where near as capable of getting me in situations where I'm in way over my head

Onthepipe 03-09-2007 08:30 PM

Hey are you able to post a pic of what you did to the kick starter? It looks like they're gone off the website. I'll send them a E mail. Thanks. I haven't gotten around to riding mine yet. We had 4 feet of snow.

Onthepipe 03-16-2007 02:46 PM

I contacted Homier and they said they still handle the parts. Anyone know how to get Jianshe parts? I'd like to have a second source lined up just in case.

Onthepipe 05-15-2007 09:51 AM

Just got an e mail from Homier. They're back in stock. Item # is 38829. :!: :!: javascript:emoticon(':!:')

flywing parts

i haven't checked this site for awhile. I have 2 of these bikes. One is for parts as it has a spot on the crank and leaks oil. The other one wasn't getting a spark and it was the stator. At the time it belonged to my buddy and he sent to california to get fixed. Cost was $90. No problems since. If u need a part let me know

parts

hi i have a flywing and i cant get a spark what can i do to eather by past or make one or find a part for it

katoranger 06-13-2009 02:22 PM

No spark. First make sure all switch are on. Then new sparkplug and then I would venture a guess that you CDI box has failed. Check to see if you are getting power from the stator to the CDI. If so then I would replace the CDI with a new one. About $20 part.

You have a 'spot' on the crank so you're parting it out??? Does it leak or gush??

Germantrooper3 06-30-2009 09:51 PM

I have one of these bikes and Im looking to part it out. It ran fine till the stator died, now it worthless to me. So, parts if ya need um.

flywing parts on Ebay

I'm looking for parts myself but I haven't found a set of rings yet. I noticed someone has a lot of ignition parts, and everything from gears to gas tanks on ebay, these are for the flywing 100cc and 150cc bikes. I'm not associated with him but I'm trying to get in touch with someone for new rings to go on my bike, before christmas I hope!

i have the same problem.. i checked the spark plug and no spark or so i thought i touched the spark plug and just a little spark nothing big. i put it back in and it wouldnt start. i took it off and no spark. i left it alone for about 2 week and i tried firing it up and it did until it just turned off. i took the spark plug and again just a little spark. so would i need a new spark plug? i checked all the wires and they all have great connection. so would i need a need a new spark plug or what? :?:

Cal25 09-10-2010 08:41 PM

Spark plugs are cheap. Some bikes even come with fake NGK plugs. Sounds like your a great candidate for a new plug.

Missing kick starter stamped 2004 Flywing. Research online shows me the bike is a mx100 which looks like the yamaha pw80 with same parts. Anyone have any parts to sell? Controls and rear brake setup needed among other things I will replace in time.
