Zongshen ZS250GS Sport parts. Cheap.
3 Attachment(s)
I picked up a former members Zong so that it could live on. The parts will be made available a very low cost to members to keep their machines running.
Weld has already spoken for the engine, forks, wiring, rear sets and some other pieces. Here is the bike. Frame has a title. |

Started the teardown. Only needed a few wrenches and metric hex wrenches. Emilie and Buford are watching movies in the shop. I fixed the TV so that we can watch out there. 40 degrees inside. Maybe next year we will get heat.
I'm very grateful for your efforts, Allen.
I will likely have it apart tomorrow. Need to check out the shipping options. I have plenty of pallets here.
Buford, Meika and I stripped down some more parts. This bike is built so much better than the lifan.

Pretty much a rolling frame with an engine attached now. 45 degrees in the shed tonight.

Not all Chinese motorcycles are created equal. ;) Zongshen has been building strong bikes with reliable engines for a long time. :) The current RX3 is merely the next step in the advancement of Zongshen products.
It may not be Japanese quality, but its close. I suspect the RX3 will be very close to Japanese quality.
I'm really looking forward to this motor; thanks again for your efforts.
Would you like me to also send you the long stroke actuator I have? It's 12 volt, and we discussed it in the past for a dump project you had, IIRC. |
Sure. We may be able to use it someplace.
I am looking forward to the minibike. It should be just in time for 4-h judging.
You'll love it. It's equipped with factory drum brakes, rather than scrub style.
Nice. Mine had a band brake. It never worked. I have a 3hp tecumseh on a garden tiller that I think we will use.
I guess I'm very late, but if someone else has a motor like this for sale, please, let me know.
TORKER. |
If I see another one I will be sure to let you know.

What else do you have available, Torker?
Right after I asked the question, I spotted your other thread. Thanks!
Guys, I still have this bike, but I plan to be taking things to scrap soon. My junk tolerance level has dropped a lot lately.
I have all I need, and I can't take just a frame across the border easily. Time for the scrap yard.
It will probably go in the next load. My shed is being purged of projects that are not going to happen.
The wheels may make a cheap supermoto set. They are 18". After I move the hay out of the barn I will be able to get to the bike.

Cdi plug
I am in search of the front fairings, the plugin for the cdi ignitor box and the box itself for a 2006 zongshen zs250gs.
The problem is the bike is having issues with not getting spark. The person i got the bike from tried to rewire the cdi box with one that he had lying around. Any help would be appreciated |
Out of curiosity, what's the frame and swing arm with linkage worth to you? Hmm, although as weld said, getting a frame sent north of the border is probably costly and an issue although I'd just be using part of it.
Sorry. Missed your post. Getting the frame across the border may be troublesome.
What part do you need? I have cutting tools. |
Wiring harness 2006 zs250gs
Does anyone have the wiring harness for 2006 zongshen zs250gs. Please let me know.

Going to be cleaning out the barn where I have this bike next week.
Do you still have the gas tank and front cowl?
