I Love this Bike!

I like the paint on the tank. Wish those were available in North America.

i bought the seat and the front-fender on www.japan.webike.net they are for the suzuki vanvan, they fit though.
The seat looks nice but its not very comfy

now he wants 395 Euro but i offered him 250 for mine and he agreed.Still too expensive me thinks.

Everything fits but there was a problem with the fuel tank. The Original Fuel tank has two "holes" on the left side, one for the fuel-cock and another one of the same size right beside ,which propably was for the fuel-indicator. So i instlalled a second fuel cock to close it. And there was a third hole in the middle which must be for some kind of Air-Ventilation Valve. But the problem was, the fuel spilled out of it even if the tank was nearly empty. So i needed to invent something to close it properly. My English is not good enough to explain what i did but i can upload a picture of it if anyone runs into the same problem.

MIgu, nice bike with the mods, love the colour and front gard. Thanks for the info on chain life for my V-retro, I think I'll change it before the ride. Can you tell me what chain fits please, a 420 or 428 pitch and how many links for the standard gearing? I have looked on some of the other posts but have not seen what fits, only that the chain is not up to a hard life. The 5500km ride is appx 2000km tarmac ad 2500 dirt through some of the remotest parts of Australia so spares have to be carried or its a long walk or lonely slow death (I did the same ride last September on a KLE500).

Hello,

its a RK520 Chain with 102 Chains original, you might want to change the front Sproket from 13 to 14 .The one from the Honda XL350 should fit. And the Engine will not rev so high wen you go around 50 Miles per hour.
The user "trailbikerider" has much more knowledge about this matter, maybe you ask him again?

yes, thats right Migu. I have a 14 tooth in the front and it runs alot better I think. For the rear a sprocket from a Kawasaki KFX 400 Quad would fit. The original on the 250 raptor is 34 Teeth. Problem is that they are hard to find with 34 Teeth for the KFX 400. I've seen 32 or 35 Teeth though. If you put a 32 in the rear then I would leave it with a 13 in the front.

Just make sure it has These measurments as on Picture. I measured These with a electronic ruler.
Millimiters of course with four holes!

I bought a 2nd or 3rd hand (I don´t know).
It is a 2011 model with only 1300 km in black.
Until now...it is in serie condition.

I think about to buy a topcase and a windsreen.
