I was thinking of trying the plastic tank from my h-bird just see if it would fit in the 150.

I checked out my vin and its a Chongqing Loncin. Also I looked on the nhtsa site and found their vin decoding info. My bike is labeled as a cross country motorcycle the vin starting with LLCHY the first three designating the location, company, and division 4th the brand and 5th type of vehicle. How did you list the bike on the bill of sale? What's it going to say on the title? |
wow you really did a nice job on your bikes. Your bike is has a 150cc like mine but I have a lifan motor instead. The bikes look the same to me ,I am swapping in a aluminium swingarm from a cr500 .I want to save weight as much as possible plus a little longer swingarm will come in handy if i build the motor I'm thinking of now. A turbo 218 (xr200 with crf230 crank and ecotronics 34mm fuel injection with turbo and water/meth injection to suppress detonation) I am taking off parts I an't find and remaking them in aluminium because my buddy is lead fab at a custom race snomobile shop . Since we have same bike if your or others are interested I may make a few. I never have done things cheap or half-butt and I have no desire to start now so the pieces will be flawless. Ok well head over to my thread sometime and check me out.have a good day Brad

I listed the bike as a "Xgjao" for the make and as "XGJ150GY-3A" for the model. I suppose you should just put "Loncin" for your make.
I got the tag today. They send the ownership certificate later. I don't know if there's supposed to be an expiration sticker on the plate. There wasn't one. |
Dirt Runner

All done with the Baja Dirt Runner. Cleans up real nice! Runs great. Just listed on Craigs list. Little to small for me and to big for any of my grand kids.

It looks good; it should sell quickly.

Turn Signal Wiring
2 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to get the turn signals working on the 150 now that I have a plate. I hooked up all the signals. When I hit the signal switch all I get is the warning beeper, no lights, no flashing. The sound appears to be coming from the flasher unit, so I assume it's getting current. But there's some other device in the loop and I don't know what the heck it is. It doesn't show up on any of the wiring diagrams I can find. It has all the colors of the signal wires. The wires go in but there's no exit. Is it some kind of flasher? Anyone have a basic diagram I can wire from scratch to get around what ever this little box is?

I can take a look at mine when I get home later today. I just hooked mine up so Ill just take a picture of it. It sounds like you may have a bad relay for your blinkers or you have some wires crossed.

I have dealt with a similar issue, so I hope this helps. Start reading from post #62: http://www.chinariders.net/showthrea...=camwow&page=5

It was just the flasher. Confused me because it beeped. But I tried the one out of the hi-bird and everything worked.

Glad to hear you got it sorted.

I still don't know what that other box does, the one I posted a picture of. Some sort of relay?
