There is a nice update at the CSC Blog regarding the Canadian testing of the RX3. :)

Therefore, I think the Shinko 244 tires should work very well, and last a long time mounted on the RX3. :) I never had any problems with the Shinko 244, size 3.00-18 tire mounted on the front wheel of my Zongshen 200GY-2.

You're right there Spud. I never chunked a front 244 and they lasted 10000+ miles. :lmao:

The pannier mount look perfect for hanging some soft bags on. The ledge is the perfect design for them.

Looking at all the instrumentation--they say texting and driving is bad...:)

Would you be allowed to use them for parts?

That is what I would do. ;)

I certainly hope not! :wtf:

:hehe:

I do shred and chunk knobs on the front tire of my Honda CRF250X. The Rocky Mountain trails of Idaho are very tough on dirt bike tires. ;)

Spud, what made you choose a 17" over an 18" tire?

That's exactly what I wondered.

Welcome!

Your screen name has piqued my curiosity. The only three cylinder engines I can think of are the Kawasaki triples and the Chev / Gio / Suzuki sub-compacts. Is your screen name an engine reference?

Yes 3banger is in reference to an engine preference; but you missed the most iconic three bangers of the recent decades, Triumph! I've had a triple of triples and I've been 3banger in the online world for nearly 15 years. Starting with a 2000 Sprint RS then a 2002 Daytona and finally I've put my most touring miles on a 2005 Sprint ST. Also spend a good amount of time playing in the dirt on a KTM 200 MXC.

Since the RX3 is more of an adventure bike than a dirt bike, I won't be using the 18-inch, dirt bike tires I install on the rear wheels of my other motorcycles. Therefore, I figured I might as well go with the 17-inch rear wheel which offers a wide selection of suitable, dual sport tires. ;)

I like doing business with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC (RMATV). If I order before 5 p.m., I will receive my order the next morning. RMATV just switched to FedEx delivery, so I now get orders delivered on Saturday morning as well. Therefore, I can get tires delivered as soon as I need them, at very competitive prices. :) RMATV offers the following, 17-inch rear tires which should work very well on the back wheel of the Zongshen RX3.

Shinko 244, size 5.10-17

Shinko 705, Size 130/80-17

Besides the good prices and quick delivery, I also earn frequent buyer points when shopping at RMATV. ;)

You can't mistake the distinctive features of this engine, and the manufacturers are listing the exact bore, stroke, and other specifications for the NC250 engine. ;)

Friends, thank you for that answer questions. Yes, I see that these motorcycles ustnavlen Zongshen engine, but would like an official confirmation. Especially GasGas many fans did not want to believe that GasGas can use Chinese engine. Apologies for the English, I use Google translator.;)

Some of the Gas Gas fans realize the engine is from China, but they don't know it is a Zongshen NC250 engine. You might enjoy reading the following threads. ;)
