Ebay has been offering free listing to boost business. If the item sells you pay the typical fees.

Instead of paying the insertion free to list it is free. People will list more items.

You still end up paying, but only if the item sells. I like that plan better.

I also like that plan better! I have a few items I need to sell; thanks for the tip! :D

Spud :)

Just watch for the free listing sales. Currently none active, but I suspect it will be soon again.

My problem with ebay is their movement towards paypal only (as far as I can tell)... Since I no longer have a paypal account (I spent more then they allow without my banking information) it makes ebay problematic.

Hey I'm with you on PayPal. I don't like their anti-gun bias at all but I use them because they are really the only practical way for me to do business on eBay. I have the same issue with eBay, anti Second Ammendment. I don't suppose that's the same issue for Canadians though.

Jim 03-03-2011 10:34 PM

Well I don't speak for all Canadians, but I assure you it hasn't been an issue for me

Be interesting to see what you get for the rest of the old Bultaco parts, turned out to be an excellent buy :D

Engine $25, Exhaust $10, Carb $15, Skidplate $65, Gas Tank $13.

It was worth picking up. Not too much left to salvage.

I never would have guessed the skid plate was the "big ticket" item. 8O

I don't think so, but I don't know his real name either.

I just found it ironic that after 40 years the part would be going home.

That is funny. If that part could talk...

katoranger 07-29-2011 09:28 AM

Not quite as old as the Bultaco, but this came home with me yesterday. I hurried and got it in the yard before the wife noticed.

Other saw this old virago, but decided to let it rest.
