I have to say, with all your upgrades, I'm surprised you're still running the stock front shocks, the perf. ones from Gio are a big improvement.

i payed 69$$ cad at http://www.lesprosdelaboue.com/ i dont know if they ship to bc. but if u want i can give u the model number so you can check on ebay for one.

and ya i really want to change my shock but i keep losing my bid on the gio website :x and i also got mixed reviews on the are they really that good???? [/url]

hey dude your atv is sweet, nice mods and nice work on the diy stuff.

as for the shock, my atv is the exact same as yours just a different name.. i did some measuring today and you might like the info

honda trx 250r shocks are 15in if i remember correctly front center mount to center mount.. my shocks measured 14in center to center in the front.. so you could actually use a pair of honda trx250r or just trx250 front shocks.. i have not measured the rear shock on mine just yet.

ok thanks i will look it too it

mizke 08-01-2010 02:58 AM

no problem, my plan is when something goes out to replace what i can with name brand parts. when my motor goes, i will be dropping in a 250 or 250r trx motor

anthonyfa18 08-01-2010 03:04 AM

lol i am going 250cc this winter but i am going for this motor for 500$$ bran new in the box http://www.giobikes.com/Engines-Comp...gine-4-Stroke/ at my local china atv shop

mizke 08-01-2010 04:39 AM

very very nice, is that a direct drop in ?

when i post pictures on my new guy thread.. take a look at the motor mounts and see if you can tell me if it is a direct drop in or not.. i might go that route instead of the almot 1600 i was quoted by a dirtbike shop here in my town

anthonyfa18 08-01-2010 11:20 AM

ya the motor is a direct bolt, it use the racing cdi (like i have ) and my intake i modified alos still fits and so dose my gy6 carb but i will upgarade my gy6 carb to a 30mm gy6 carb for max performance. the guy at my local china atv shop says i will hit a top speed between 110-115 kph

mizke 08-01-2010 03:21 PM

good deal, so ive read on there that some people are calling the pz30 carb a upgrade ? is that correct ?

mizke 08-02-2010 01:00 AM

i would love to have front disc brakes instead of the weak drum brakes. just have not found the parts or a way to do the conversion..

you just had to show me that site, only bad part is the few odds n ends like the vented gas caps for example only come in orange.. would preffer red, and the disc brake conversion.. damn it i want it. i want the polished foot pegs, the handle bars... shit man im going to end up spending close to 2 grand on this thing by the time im done... ive already been trying to talk myself into that 250cc motor you linked me to.. not cuz i need it but i want it and i want to do the work on a motor swap..

anthonyfa18 08-02-2010 06:34 PM

lol welcome to my club

mizke 08-02-2010 07:19 PM

well thank you for the welcome but it is a double edged sword for me. i love to buy accessories for things and for the year and a half ive had this quad i have not bought anything cuz it was not running right, but now that it is i am itching to get some parts for it.. i cant wait for the fmf powercore 2 muffler to get here.. its going to bug me that i have to wait to get it installed cuz i dont own any welding stuff. got to either get my brother n law or my dad to take the quad to their place and do it.
