I have bought some things from Ebay that came to me as amazon boxed items labeled as gifts.
The number of times I order from ebay that suggests stock is nationally located only for it to arrive in chinese cling film. I basically start with aliexpress and work my way around ebay and amazon searching the same item as to me its all just a smoke and mirrors chinese distrabution network with subsidized free shipping paid for by the western countries taxes... |

I was thinking the latest Templar shipment was on the Dali cargo ship. Perhaps, then rerouted from Baltimore to Charleston. :hmm:

Put my new flyscreen on. Mainly I wanted it to protect the gauge cluster as they are exposed and a good sized rock could damage them. As a side bonus, it does actually provide a little wind reduction too, mostly to the lower half of my torso, but it is enough to make highway speeds a little less tiresome. It doesn't look half bad either.

Been a minute. I had some drama with registering my bike, mostly due to my State more than the bike itself, so I went almost 6 weeks without being able to legally ride my bike. I got that sorted, and then got busy at work.
I've installed a new set of slip-on's for it, made by a Company called Bykology, also called Rhino Racing. They are big and straight through mufflers that also come with dB killers. https://i.ibb.co/nQLb4R7/20240703-004052.jpg https://i.ibb.co/6Wvg84T/20240703-004038.jpg With the dB killers out they are definitely a bit loud. Not obnoxious, but definitely conspicuous, and they also drone a bit in my helmet at highway speeds. It sounds killer though. With them in, still a bit louder than the stock mufflers, but they are tamer. I can hear them when riding at highway speeds, but they are in the background and don't drone at all. They still make a nice throaty 270 degree twin bark when you get on the throttle. I am pretty much going to leave them in unless I am feelin a bit rambunctious and want to be heard. Otherwise, I ordered in a FuelX Lite to hopefully help with the closed loop fueling. I can tell this engine is tuned lean, and putting those mufflers on there definitely did not help. I also ordered some ceramic metallic Ferodo brake pads for the front to help bring some feel/bite into the front brakes. Still love this bike. |
That's one sexy bike.
