My God I feel stupid lol. I was in the shop for an hour removing the carb, tweaking the mixture screw, reinstalling and testing only to find out I had it backwards and none of it was necessary lol.

2nd opinion.....
Lever up = Choke on Lever middle = half choke Lever down = No Choke Do you live in a warm climate? Choke is only need on my hawk when the temp is 50 or less. ( that is Fahrenheit for all our metric friends) |

Okay guys, I made a carb disassembly and tuning video which you can find here for the stock carb. Motocheez made a similar one but I didn't fully understand what was going on and what needed to be done so I decided to dive in and make an actual disassembly video myself.

The rear sprocket on the Hawk, my friend is having problems with his and he was wondering why these just fall out. Are they supposed ot be welded in and someone along the line forgot to or is here an actual reason why these are loose like this?

No thats how there made. I have the same setup with my steel wheel. The snap ring holds the sprocket in place and those pins prevent the sprocket from spinning. My aluminum wheel has bolts instead of the pins but still has the snap ring.
