A bit pricey for what it is, but I had store credit from the local Cycle Gear from some snafu's they had refunding some previous purchases so they gave me a gift card so I made out free and clear.

Always wonder why they never show the open end or tell you how many points it is, I am assuming a 12 since its not high torque application and people don't want to fiddle as much for a perfect 6 point fit when extracting plugs.

And if I ever get a big name metric bike I'm still good to go with it.

One of those odd little spot welders for battery pack repair/replacements. I have stupid expensive Milwaukee battery that screwed up out of warranty and want to take a shot at reviving it. What I bought, except I got off Aliexpress for like ten bucks.

A $45 oil pressure sending unit for the Suburban, and then the discovery that my particular model of suburban doesn't fit the "as seen on the internet" mold, and I would wind up having to do it the way the shop manual says, and not the way YouTube convinced me I could. I had to tear the entire intake manifold off (and replace the intake manifold gaskets for another $65) just to replace the sensor. I'm sure the GM engineers got together and said "I know, let's put this sensor in the DUMBEST LOCATION POSSIBLE!!" Surprisingly, it only took about two hours to get the whole job done start to finish. In the end, I'm a little happier I did it this way since I was able to clean the valley out and inspect the intake ports. I suspected I had a leak somewhere in the intake side as well, so new intake gaskets were on the list anyways.

Life is a series of boring mundane chores and errands interspersed with seemingly brief moments of transcendental pleasure. Sadly it was quite cold today so I couldn't take my KPR out for a ride. Instead I was stuck driving a -gasp- car and going out to buy kitty litter. So very exciting.... NOT!

Or as I like to put it, another job James Bond doesn't have to do.

I wore the new helmet for the first time today because it is second winter here in NE Illannoy. It took all of about 2 minutes for it to become my bestest ever helmet.

Oh, and I bought a 50s Schwinn front bike wheel and some raffle tickets today.
