I'm doing the Chicago Toys for Tots motorcycle run on the 4th with one or two more Ural riders. Donation to ride is an unwrapped toy so I sprang for a nice Umbra soccer ball.

Also bought breakfast for Harold with the company credit card. We did talk shop, so it was a business meal.:)

Well, this was yesterday. Our oldest SIL hinted that he'd like a shirt/jack in a southwestern print. Mrs.C made it her(my)mission to get him one for Christmas. Good grief. A southwest motif is not easy to find in the lower Great Lakes. We embrace our cold grey bucket of suck seasons here. We care not that there is nicer weather elsewhere.(that's a lie, btw)

So, after several days and many miles traveled, we decided to look at one more place then we were giving up. We walk in and right in front of us is a shirt/jac in a southwestern print. And it was his size.:yay: No more shopping for this damn thing.

Then, Mrs.C decides that we should look at coffee makers. I'm kind of in agreement because our Kuerig is getting long in the tooth and I'm having concerns about the k-cup waste, but... So, we look at a Cousin Art(Cuisinart)Coffee Center. Can brew a whole pot or just a cup of fresh ground AND use k-cups, too. "Oh, look", says Mrs.C. "It's on sale. And I have a 15% off our entire purchase coupon." Who am I to argue with that.

Cable lube tool. Slow boat from China but big time price. By the time I need it I’ll already have received it.

Hour meter. I was going to get an hour meter for the same price as the cable lube took on a slow boat ride as well. Decided in the end to cancel it, reason is I found out the battery on it was non replaceable. I then searched for battery replaceable versions and by the time I found them I was already at the $10 and $11 mark. Time to search eBay. Same one for $13 domestically with 4 day free shipping. So I got the fast boat domestic stock instead of slow boat stock.

As a bonus, maybe, this one has a heap of extra feature I likely won’t use.

More of a week in general to cover all i bought lol

Tuesday: Changed Phone plans to both be 30 GB data since i find myself using a fair bit of data doing Door Dash so it gets eaten up by the GPS. And at the same time i also ordered a new Google Pixel 6A to replace the Samsung Galaxy A71 i use as my back up phone. The new phone is why the back up plan got bumped to 30 gb as well. Funny enough im paying the exact same prices i was for the previous 15 GB/8 Gb plans for both of them having 30 GB each. So no real change there.

Friday: LED headlights and relay harness for the C10

Today: JB Weld Minuteweld to fix the trim piece i broke while installing said headlights and harness lol

Those tachs claim to be waterproof but they're not. The sun will also kill the display. I've gone through 4 of them over the years.

Oil filter for the Wrangler. Still need to get the oil but I have 700 miles before I really need to bother.

Emerikol 11-29-2022 07:04 PM

Oil and Filter for my Mom's Jeep, along with Spark Plugs, and an Air Filter. Also bought enough trans fluid for another flush of the Nissan transmission, and an oil change. My little sister is going to borrow the Nissan for a bit while her car gets some work done on it. Looks like the Wrangler is going to need a new battery after less than a year, and the Suburban is just about due for an oil change, too. The maintenance never seems to end with a fleet of vehicles.

Drugs.
I mean, I got a prescription filled.

In the U.S., this is a major event. I know that in the rest of the world, getting a prescription filled in a non-event. You have your football, we have out foot to the balls.

Spent eight bucks at ReStore yesterday and got a Pyramid halogen bike like for the Raleigh I got at ReStore a couple weeks ago and a NIB leather welding hood.

It's been a pretty good year for finds and ReStore this year.

Another Haynes manual. Because I ordered the wrong one a few months ago, like an idiot. So, here I go, paying an idiot tax.

New Hand Guards arrived, I do hope I can get them fitted :hehe:

They are supposed to be black to match my motorcycle but I've worked all weekend on my bike and my hands hurt so I'll open them tomorrow to check the color.

Rest is Australian Merino Wool. Socks and Balaclava and a Neck Gaitor. The merino glove liners with wind block material I'll have to pick up from cycle gear when it arrives at the store.
