Well that sucks. It will give you time to order all those modes that will take just as long if ordering through Amazon. lol
I need to find a better mic too. Let me know what you find. I use this chin mount which works great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

KyzoSoupz 04-02-2020 12:23 PM

Oh heck yea, that mount will keep that camera moving. The best mic I found so far is PurplePanda mic. The question is if it is universal. I found a great deal on price for a GoPro Hero 7. I’m still looking, but when I find something good I put the links here. Thanks for the camera mount Jerry!

I am not sure the shelter in place in GA will slow the delivery of commercial products.

Also the DF will not come in the mail, it will be shipped by commercial truck.

KyzoSoupz 04-03-2020 09:56 PM

Well were not under a complete lockdown, were under partial for 15 days. Mail should still run and gass stations have to stay open, stores have to stay open. Everything else is closed. Im hoping and keeping fingers crossed she will still come in but it may not for the moment. But we have to have a pass to leave.

Barnone 04-04-2020 10:22 AM

GA shelter-in-place allows
"Critical infrastructure, per federal guidelines, includes health-care sectors, law enforcement and first-responder agencies, food and agriculture industries, energy companies, water and sewer utilities, trucking, public transit, information technology and more."
Your DF will come via truck.

Added Stabil

I did fill the tanks and add Stabil to all the toys in the shop and then rode/drove them to get the mixture in the carbs or EFI just in case we get restricted more because of the virus.

Yes, I am currently looking for on other rear sprocket for the DF250RTG, it really has me glued and man she looks nice. I really want the DF250RTG, 70mph is enough for me. No more speed needed, I’m going to be Avoiding all highways as possible anyways. I live in the mountains here in GA, even when I get my ML I won’t be taking the highways unless I really have no choice. Also what makes more iffy about the DF250RTG is that if Georgia will allow me to insure it sense it’s not C.A.R.B. approved. I was going for the Suzuki VanVan 200, the VanVan goes about the same speed as the DF250RTG let alone probably similar power output for BHP. So I really don’t care if she can’t handle highways. That’s not an issue, but I really don’t know till I buy it then I can say otherwise. I feel like the DF250RTG will be an amazing bike.
There are 3 I am currently looking at.
DF250RTG, Suzuki VanVan 200, Suzuki TU250X
Plus the DF250RTG is lighter than the X22r so it may potentially touch 75. A friend of mine owns a VanVan 200 and well.... riding it I did like the bike.... a lot
My friend says it can do 70 to 75 max. I was looking at the VanVan for a while so speed is no big deal anyways unless I’m taking highways. Knowing your X22R Jerry goes up to 81 makes me feel more confident to buy the DF250RTG, knowing it weighs less than X22R it may go at those speeds.

I may still buy the DF250RTG, you will never know till the end of this month. Or sooner. I am definitely changing the seat on the DF250RTG if I get it. The seat Barnone has, makes it look great! Plus I’m looking for a speedo with a mileage trip for fuel. The Df250rtg doesn’t have one, I would have to guess on fuel an check frequently.

Is this a "Hawk" like bike? Have you looked a Peace power sports in GA? Atlanta or outskirt of Atlanta.
Might be a better option for you.
If it is a "Hawk like bike I may have just the sweetest Speedo meter for you and the fuel gauge part works as a volt gauge, adds RPM on dail area etc and multi options on back light. (Post office shipping currently super slow if it is sent to L.A. yet if it goes to JFK it is rather fast, all randomly sent to each entry point of the USA tho)

No, i didnt even know that place existed. I was going to buy the TU250X but the guy changed his mind on me. it was the only TU250 in my state selling used.
So i decided to get the red DF250RTG, She got shipped today so soon it will be here. Cant wait!

Megadan 04-05-2020 12:28 AM

The DF250RTG might weigh less than the X22R, but the X22R is more aerodynamic. Weight plays more of a role up to highway speeds, and Aero plays a bigger role past that point (usually right around 55-65mph). Also keep in mind Jerry has re-gear that bike, de-cat the exhaust, and install a 30mm smooth bore carb to reach that speed,

That said, I have no doubt that with the right gearing a DF250RTG could likely peak close to 75mph. It will probably be tapped out to get there. The CSC SG250 hits 68mph out of the box, so it's possible.

The DF250RTG is not a digital speedometer type bike. It is a plain bobber. Also it has a reserve on the petcock so when you run out of fuel in the on position you switch to reserve. Nice and simple.

KyzoSoupz 04-06-2020 09:36 AM

That is awsome, i didnt think it would have a reserve.... Noice love the seat on the bike, really fits better than the stock seat. i will be changing mine.

Yes, I think I'll leave the speedo alone. I have a portable gps I'll be using to track my miles so I will be able to know when to fuel up. Also gives me the ability to use a gps when needed.
