DSChic, check out the risers that Winyoochanok is selling! Brings the bars back as well. They did require abit of adjustment as far as the cables go, but it was minimal. They also worked perfectly when fitting his larger windshield

Got a link for them or picture?

The Tusk risers are 30mm = 1 3/16", and they don't go exactly straight up. They lean slightly back at the same rake angle as the forks. jb |

http://www.twistedthrottle.com/handl...ise-1-pullback Because of the angle of the triple clamp you will get less rise and more back than the spec. |

Thanks Spud!
My only concern is cable slack (or lack thereof) as I ran into the issue before when I had my Tiger 800. I did get the Rox risers on it but had to fiddle with the cables to get enough clearance when turning the bars. Another set of bars would work too - just alot of refitting that I'd need to do to brakes/clutch/throttle/electronics. |
These look great! Exactly what I need. I heard there were some small mods that had to be done to fit them - can you expand on that?

Thanks RH - have a bunch of SW Motech stuff as TT is next State over - one of my favorite farkle stops!

...plus shipping to your location. The shipping is by weight. The shipping for my order of the kickstand foot and crash guard protectors was $28. US jb |
Thank you JB - will these fit the RX3 without further mods?
|
They will fit the handlebars.
I don't know if any relocation of the cables is necessary. Aleong1967 and Tinman Tim have the Yoo risers, but AFAIK they haven't reported back about the installation. From tinman tim's post: "They did require a bit of adjustment as far as the cables go, but it was minimal." jb |
As stated before. Minimal refitting of cables and wires. Loosen some of the cable clamps and pull alittle to get more slack at the bars. EZ peezy
For the life of me, i cant figure out how to post pics, or i would. Also, save the tutorials. |
