I see it as false advertisement. Looks like a regular Hawk to me in the pictures. I would request actual pictures of these upgrades.

UPGRADES ALL OVER THIS ONE, HENCE THE DLX (deluxe) NAME!! Heavy Duty, reinforced fame, aluminum triple tree/forks, aluminum handlebars, aluminum footpegs, enhanced engine for more power on the low end, Hi-Flow exhaust and piping!!

I see no evidence of these upgrades in the pictures. The Hawk comes with steel handle bars, steel foot pegs and a plugged up exhaust. Now if they actually do have these upgrades it would be a great price. The Hawk is capable of 75mph but not in stock form. It will take some fine tuning and mods.

Just for the heck of it I requested more information on the upgrades. Lets see what they come back with.

I have called 4 sellers today and all of them over the phone sound like they have no idea what they are talking about and talk down to you like you know even less.

No you don't want that, this is better, etc, etc.

Who is a reasonable dealer that knows what they are selling and doesn't assume I know nothing and they have to steer me to what they are selling.

I had a price from an SSR dealer on a 250 for $4980!

Yamaha shop 60 miles from my place is selling 2018 XT250's for $3999.

I just want a decent little putt put to play with, geez

The Hawk and Bashan bikes are more what I am looking for, they seem to know nothing except what the paper says, and they seem to be all about selling but really don't know their product.

I did find a Storm 250 at a regular motorcycle shop out the door at $1895 alreat assembled , prepped, and set up, title paper work should be easy, not sure if its a deal or not.

Bet it has a KPH speedo.

Well I sent them a couple of emails, Tried calling and no answers. In the mean time I did a check on them. RUN!! STAY AWAY!! WOW, Talk about a bad reputation. They are about as shady as they can get. They have gone as far as changing the name of the company there rep was so bad. Here are a few good dealers I have dealt with and were strait up with me and took care of any issues after the sale. Killermotorsports.com and APSCUSA.com. I know a few others on here have dealt with q9powersportsusa.com and had good results. I'm sure there are a few others and someone will chime in.

I purchased through Killermotorsports. Nothing but good things to say from my experience.

So I finally got an email back from them. They didn't answer a single question. Just Thanks and a picture of a stock Hawk on the left side. No picture of the Hi-flow exhaust. lol I replied back asking about pictures of all the upgrades that you are advertising on your web site. Waiting on that reply now.

I doubt you will get a reply back. From what I can tell though, the DLX looks to have a massive 15cc larger engine, stiffer fork springs, and a bunch of parts you can add to a normal Hawk. Until more official info is released we will be guessing. Stock photos of the normal Hawk and even the RPS Viper (???) seems to be all we will get.

As of right now I have seen nothing that will make me give up my normal Hawk. Especially not for double the price.

Yeah me too. I just wanted to use terms that folks not in the biz would understand. FOB you own it once it is picked off the loading dock.

I haven't heard back from these guys after there 1st email. I explain that I already own a Hawk and was helping out a friend to find out what the upgrade were. I asked to send me pictures of the so called upgrades they are advertising and asked if they had changed out the stock sprockets and tuned the carburetor to achieve the 75 mph they claim. No reply. But now if you go to there website the bike slowed down to 60mph. :lmao:But they still have all the upgrades listed. :ohno:
