Front shocks are installed. They fit perfectly (when the 10mm bushings are installed) and they are WAY better. I can compress them all the way by pushing the front end down. There is actually a little sag at static ride height. (Which is perfect). This is when them in their softest setting.

So is this a mandatory upgrade for all owners? Sure looks like a million. Hope it didn't cost it. I bet it is a night and day difference.
Looks great! What other cool stuff are you going to add? |
Oh man.... I really like the looks of those and you say they actually work. I'm going to go and measure the Rhino.

10mm bushings
awesome. did the 10mm bushings come with the shocks or did you just reuse the stock ones? notice how close the spring is to the A-arm bushing, thats where i was worried they wouldnt fit. but since they fit on yours they should fit on mine.

Damn that looks nice. Not sure if this set would do it for the Rhino and a 200lb rider.. Might need one or two sizes up.

Just a short update, I put the stock rear shock back on. This is a great setup. The stock rear shock works great with the new fronts. I had to reset the toe and camber but it rides great now.

What was wrong with the new rear shock?

I like how the spring rate and the gas is adjustable. It looks like one of the eyes may possibly be able to be lengthened also. That would be a bonus. They may jack up snug enough to hold our girth. The Rhino rear shock is in desperate need also. |
For the rhino 250, is there anyway to remove some of the fluid or change the weight of the stock fluid to gain some compliance?
I'm thinking to drill a hole and drain out the fluid... |
Just find out the stock size of the rhino shocks.
The shocks come in 300mm 320mm 340mm. Measurements are eye to eye. 300 is 12 inch, 320 is like 12.6 inch and 340 is a little over 13 inch. From eye to eye. The shocks are all over eBay and Amazon. Quote:

Generally, with enough riding, they blow out and launch their fluid on their own. |
I'm hoping if a Rhino owner pulls the trigger they let us know how it goes. I guess I'm a follower not a leader.

Swapping bushings

So I got my new shocks. Same as the ones you got.
They come with 12mm bushings but they sent me 4 10mm bushings. How did you, or do you remove the 12mm ones and put the 10mm ones in? Help a coolster brother out. Thanks Quote:
