ha ha you got nailed....

I just discovered avon builds a cheap street tire for a decent price.

might be a good replacment since it seems you are all street.

Today the side of the nail wore into my tube and the tube deflated. Was about 10 miles from home at the time. Had to get a tow for $45. No biggie, now I have learned how to change tires. So it was $45 well spent. -Cory

FINALLY got the right size grease fitting for swing arm. Got it in and hooked up the grease gun, started pumping and grease came out the bottom of the nut that is welded onto the swingarm. I guess the weld wasnt complete so it left space for grease to come out. Put some JB Weld on it and waiting for it to cure then I will FINALLY be able to grease that sucker!!! YEAH!! -Cory

P.S getting tail lights fixed this week.

Found a temp fix for my tail light being out. Bought a $10 red LED bicycle tail light and electric taped it on top of my rear light.

I thought you were having a shop look at the taillight? Be careful, and also watch out for tickets too...

pizzarider 09-24-2008 11:04 PM

I am having a shop look at it. My tail light will come on every once in a while but no break light. Weird. Also, I re-lubed my clutch cable with white lithium grease spray. -Cory

You might also consider reading-up on the 12 volt electronics in your spare time. The labor cost at a repair shop working on "intermittent" electrical problems, can add-up fast :!:

Once they do figure and fix, you, and your wallet are still at their mercy, whenever the next (inevitable) electrical problem arises 8O

Some money saving advice,

I did notice today that my rear tail light comes on every once in a while but the break light doesnt work. Has to be something pretty simple I would think. -Cory

Did you check that all the wires are still soldered on good to the back of the light socket?
